In the township of Alexandra, there was a city of rats called RatAlex, led by a wise and clever chief rat named Babarat. Babarat was revered for his intelligence and shared stories of survival and adventures with young rats, teaching them important lessons about safety in the human township. He advised them to venture out at night and be cautious of cars. Among the young rats was an adventurous and curious rat named Gundwanyana. One day, driven by curiosity, he ventured out and got lost after being chased by children. He struggled to find his way back to RatAlex, experiencing fear and hunger. He narrowly escaped danger while trying to steal food from a shack and eventually found refuge at the Alexandra stadium. From there, he recalled the way back to RatAlex. On his return journey, Gundwanyana found food in a dustbin and, after eating, finally made his way back to RatAlex. He recounted his harrowing adventure to the other young rats, who admired his bravery and resilience.

Every night when I’m laying in bed, I can hear it, a strange rumble, then scratch, scratch…. like claws scraping across the floor. So, it must be a monster. And Ted, I’ll leave them here if you're hungry, but Ted is for cuddling, not eating!” “The next night, I hear it again: ‘Scratch, grrrrr, scratch!’. But this time I’m ready! I peek over the edge of the bed and wait.” “And then… I see it! A little nose pokes out, sniffing at the cookies, and then… a fat fluffy body and long fluffy tail! It’s not a monster at all! It’s my cat, Oscar!” “Oscar creeps from under the bed, stretches and hops right into my lap! I can’t believe it. The monster was my cat all along!” “Now, every night when I hear scratching under the bed, I smile because I know it’s not a monster. It’s just my cat, and he’s my friend now.” “Now, instead of getting scared, I just pat the bed and say, ‘Come on out, Oscar!’ And he does. Turns out having a monster cat under my bed is pretty awesome”

Finally she came to a carrot field that she thought was unguarded by humans. She broke through and enjoyed the carrots which turned out to taste very sweet and fresh. “Ciciii, enough and come back here!” Kiki and Lulu approached Cici from outside the fence, and forbade her from continuing to eat the carrots. Cici didn't care and ran away, but she was caught in a trap net that was indeed in the field. Lulu and Kiki finally helped Cici untie the net, finally Cici was free from the trap and ran with Lulu and Kiki away from the field.
