A childrens book about a young Lakota Sioux Native American boy named Deacon.  This story takes you through the daily things that Lakota Sioux do each day.  Sioux means "little snakes" and Deacon is a proud member of the snake house.  Lakota are known for their warrior culture and their Ghost Dance to protect their lands. Lakota Sioux manly hunt and eat buffalo.  They would eat chokecherries and enjoy herbal tea. They use the buffalo skin to make blankets and teepees and moccasins for their feet.  They live in "Tipis" the Sioux word for dwelling. The Lakota Sioux live in North America clustered in what is now Wisconsin, Minnesota and North and South Dakota or the Great Plains. 
Lakota Sioux were known for their beadwork and porcupine quillwork.  
Lakota Sioux would use canoes to travel and dogs/sleds to pull things.  When horses were introduced to them it changed their culture. 
Long hair is important to the Lakota Sioux and should not be cut unless you are mourning the loss of a loved one.  Lakota children played with rawhide dolls and throwing the willow spear. It is important to pass on the Lakota traditions and remember their 7 values of respect, compassion, honesty, generosity, wisdom, humility, and prayer.

Als Nama ihr die Seide anbietet, beschuldigt sie ihn des Bettelns, reißt das Paket auf und wirft die kostbaren Seidenflocken in den Abgrund. Ohne das Geld kann Frau Tina keine Hose kaufen, und Nama ist verzweifelt, weil er seinen Kinderrock nicht ablegen kann.

Das Gold häuft sich an, bis es sie erdrückt und sie stirbt. Nama findet die Mühle inmitten des Goldberges und entscheidet, das Gold nicht für sich zu behalten, sondern es den Armen zu geben, um ein guter Mensch zu werden, wie der Zauberer es ihm geraten hat.

Along the way, they encountered a silver-leafed tree that spoke in whispers. “Beware the Shadow Sprites,” it warned. “They feed on fear.”

As they journeyed further, the trio crossed a sparkling river where a talking fish gifted them a glowing scale. “This will guide you in darkness,” it said before vanishing. Soon, they entered the Misty Maze, a twisting path filled with illusions created by the Shadow Sprites. Using the glowing scale, Aadya revealed the true path, banishing the sprites.

Finally, they reached the Valley of Whimsical Wonders, a breathtaking land of floating islands and singing flowers. At its center was the Wishing Well of Eternity, guarded by a phoenix with blazing feathers. “What is your wish?” it asked.

“I wish for peace and happiness for all who live in this forest,” Aadya replied.

The phoenix spread its wings, and golden light enveloped the forest, transforming the Shadow Sprites into gentle fireflies and filling the land with harmony. Aadya, Max, and Dino returned home, their hearts full of joy, knowing their selfless wish had made the magical forest a better place.

In the blink of an eye, Alex and Poppy found themselves in the sea witch’s shimmering underwater cave, surrounded by glittering treasures and colourful fish. The sea witch smiled wickedly. “You will help me find my lost crown, or you must stay here forever!”

The sea witch became distracted by a family of lost turtles, trying to enter her underwater cave. Alex looked at Poppy, his heart racing. “We need to get out of here!” With a nod of agreement, they started to tip-toe behind the mountains of treasure in the sea witch’s cave. Suddenly, they spotted a golden starfish that shimmered brightly—it looked magical! “Let’s grab it!” shouted Poppy, reaching out. As they grasped the starfish together, a brilliant light filled the cave! With a bright flash, the starfish granted them one wish. The friends looked at each other, grinned, and shouted together, “Take us back home!”

In an instant, they found themselves back on the sandy beach, the sun shining down once more. They cheered and hugged each other. “Where have you been?” Alex’s mum asked. “You wouldn’t believe me if I told you!” Alex laughed.

Zora: "Merhaba, ben Zora. Zamanın Koruyucusuyum."

Lena: "Zora, buraya ne işin var?"

Boy is curious and scared to try new things and always listens to rules. He sees his sister dye her hair and his mom telling her that he would never do that. He gets older and makes his own decisions without parents to dye his hair dark red then continues to dye different hair colors and change his clothing style  He and everyone he knew liked the dark red but he was skeptical about it before dying. He learns new things from trying different things now.
