On a small kibbutz in Southern Israel lives a six-year-old boy named Avi. Every day after school, Avi and his friends play soccer on a large field. Next to the field, a factory is being built. Avi’s dad, Mr. Ben-David, manages the construction site. Avi loves to visit him and learn about all the different things that go into building the factory - clearing the land, pouring the foundation, and erecting the frame. One sunny afternoon Avi wandered away from his soccer game to visit his dad. This was something he did often. But today was different. He noticed a new, unfamiliar face at the worksite. He approached the stranger and cheerfully introduced himself. “Shalom, my name is Avi,” he said to the man. The man, with a warm smile, turned to Avi. “Shalom Avi, it’s good to meet you. I'm Omar." He then performed a captivating magic trick with his hands, leaving Avi mesmerized. Avi noticed that the man spoke Hebrew, just as he did, but with a different accent. He also had a first name he hadn’t heard before. Avi wondered about this nice new stranger as he walked home with his soccer ball cradled beneath his arms. That evening, as his family shared dinner around the table, Avi asked his dad about the man. “aba, I met Omar today. He’s so nice. He has a funny accent and a funny name and can do magic tricks! Who is he? Where did he come from? Can I come see him again?” “Whoa, slow down Avi. What’s with all this curiosity?”, Mr. Ben-David replied. “I don’t know, Aba. It’s nice to meet new and different people. I think he liked meeting me, too!” “Well, Avi, Omar is Palestinian from Gaza and he will be crossing into Israel each day from now on to help with building the new factory. And each night he will go back to Gaza to be with his family. It’s a long day for Omar so perhaps you should let him focus on his work.” “I will aba, but I’m just so curious. He’s my new friend. If I see him when I come visit I’ll only talk to him a little bit.”

What’s your name?” Aqma asks with a smile. The girl stays quiet for a moment, then softly replies, “Umm... Rina. My name is Rina.” “Hello, Rina! If you don’t mind, would you like to play football with me? Just for fun?” Aqma asks cheerfully. Rina shakes her head. “I’m sorry, Aqma. I can’t play football.” “Don’t worry! I’ll teach you!” Aqma insists. But Rina lowers her face and says quietly, “It’s not that... I can’t walk properly.” Aqma is confused a bit and then notices the walking stick behind her, “Oh," Aqma feels sorry and says softly, “I’m so sorry, Rina. I didn’t know...” Rina smiles a little. “It’s okay, really.” Suddenly, Aqma has an idea. “Hey, Rina! What if you become my coach?” “Me? How?” Rina asks, surprised. “You can help rate my skills and tell me how good my shots are! just like a real coach!” Aqma says excitedly. Whispikets, ethereal beings from the planet Cket, are tasked with maintaining Earth’s “Blues”—the sky, sea, and balance of ecosystems. Kamen detects mosquito pheromones in late September, signaling a problem since mosquitoes shouldn’t be mating at this time. She heads to the Hall of Blews to discuss the anomaly with her fellow Whispikets, Vir and Vio. Their leader, Eto, reveals that the frogs, key to controlling the mosquito population, are failing to thrive. If they don’t act quickly, the frogs’ decline will cause a mosquito surge, harming the environment. Eto sends the Whispikets across South Florida to help the frogs spawn, but a new threat arises: a massive hurricane is approaching. Whispikets are able to steer hurricanes by guiding them from the eye of the storm, and Eto assigns Kamen as the navigator with MO, a rookie Whispiket, volunteering to pilot the storm. Kamen is hesitant about MO’s inexperience but chooses to trust him. As they attempt to direct the hurricane, MO’s mistakes cause chaos—his erratic piloting revs up the winds too high, damaging human structures. However, the damage inadvertently clears debris, and the Whispikets are able to find all the frogs they need to restore balance. Kamen manages to guide the storm to safety, breaking it up over the sea and minimizing its impact. Back at the Hall, the Whispikets are buzzing about the storm’s outcome. Kamen is ready to defend MO, but Eto surprises everyone by praising his efforts. Despite his rookie piloting, MO’s actions helped clear the way for the frogs, allowing the Whispikets to restore balance to Earth. The story highlights themes of trust, growth, and the unexpected ways mistakes can lead to success. It also underscores the Whispikets' mission to protect Earth’s delicate ecosystems.
