Tinta en la ciudad

Tinta, la pequeña pulpo rosada, cumplía cinco años hoy. Mamá y Papá le tenían una sorpresa especial preparada. "¡Hoy vamos a visitar la ciudad!" anunciaron con entusiasmo. Los ojos de Tinta se abrieron grandes como platos.

The octopus family swam to the edge of the ocean. Dad showed them some special helmets filled with water. "These will allow us to explore without drying out," he explained while helping Tinta put hers on.

Tinta miraba asombrada los edificios altos y las luces brillantes. "¡Mira cuántos colores!" exclamó señalando con sus tentáculos. Mamá le mostró un parque donde niños jugaban alegremente. Papá compró helados que podían comer dentro de sus cascos especiales.

After a day full of adventures, it was time to return to the ocean. "Can we come back another day?" Tinta asked hopefully. Mom and Dad smiled, promising more adventures in the future. Tinta fell asleep that night dreaming of all the wonders she had seen in the city.
