Thea's First Cry

Thea who cried wolf

Once upon a time, in a cozy little town, there lived a sweet little girl named Thea. She was just 3 years old and had long, beautiful brown hair. Thea loved to play and have fun, but she also had a habit of crying for the smallest things. Whether it was a tiny scratch or a little bump, Thea would burst into tears and call for her parents.
1
At first, Thea's parents would rush to her side every time she cried. They would comfort her, check her for any boo-boos, and make sure she was okay. But as time went on, Thea started crying more and more, even for the tiniest reasons. Her parents began to worry that she was crying wolf, which means calling for help when there's no real danger.

One day, Thea pretended to cry again, but this time her parents didn't come running. They had realized that Thea was crying for no reason, and they needed her to understand that crying for nothing was not okay. Thea felt a little lonely, but she didn't stop to think about why her parents didn't come.

Then, one sunny day, while playing in the garden, Thea accidentally tripped and hurt herself. She cried out for her parents, but this time, they didn't come running immediately. They wanted to teach Thea a lesson. Thea felt scared and realized that this time she really needed help.

After a little while, Thea's parents came to check on her. They comforted her and made sure she was okay, but they also had a serious talk with her. They explained that crying for no reason made it hard for them to know when she really needed help. Thea understood and promised to only cry when she truly needed help.

From that day on, Thea became more careful about when she cried. She learned that crying for no reason could make it difficult for others to trust her when she was in real trouble. She also realized that her parents were always there for her when she truly needed them, and she didn't want to take that for granted.
6
With her new understanding, Thea felt happier and more secure. She knew that her parents would always be there for her when she needed them, and she didn't need to cry for no reason. She spent her days playing, laughing, and having fun, and her parents were proud of how she had learned an important lesson.
7
And so, little Thea's story spread through the town, teaching all the children about the importance of not crying wolf. The children learned that it's essential to save their tears for when they truly need help, and to appreciate the love and care of their parents. Thea's story became a reminder for everyone to be honest and thoughtful about when they ask for help.
