The Tale of Margot's Mom and Dad

In the land of tall trees, where the air is so pure, Alex and Joel found something quite sure. They met on a mountain, as the sun kissed the sky, on Mt. Seymour’s peak, way up high. They started as friends, just two on a trail, but soon their hearts set sail, without fail. With every sunrise, their love began to grow, from the mountain’s first light, to the valleys below.

They hiked and they laughed, they studied and learned, through years of adventures, their love brightly burned. University days passed, careers took their start, but always together, they were never apart. One day, on a mountain, in a place called Reno, Joel took a knee, the moment a glow. He asked Alex the question, his heart full of love, and she said 'Yes!' under the sky above.

Many moons later, in the place they first met, they stood once again, no room for regret. On Mt. Seymour's peak, with the world in their view, they promised forever, a love pure and true. A big celebration, at Crescent Beach near the sea, with friends and with family, as happy as can be! Auntie Madi gave a speech, full of cheer, everyone could see, their love was sincere.

Not long after, just under a year, a little surprise brought them joy, brought them cheer. For they were expecting someone special, you see, a baby named Margot, as sweet as can be! They waited and wondered, with hearts full of glee, what their little Margot would be like, you see. And now, dear Margot, they’re ready to say, they can’t wait to meet you, and love you each day.
