The Big Game Day
Ruby cheers on Luka
Luka woke up with a smile so bright. Today was the day of his big game night. His heart was pounding, full of cheer, but also a bit of nervous fear. Ruby, his friend, was by his side, ready to join him on this exciting ride. They walked to the court, hand in hand, where Luka's dreams would take a stand.

Luka stretched and jumped, feeling light. He was ready to give his very best fight. Ruby noticed his anxious face, and knew she had to set the pace. 'Butterflies mean you're excited,' she said, 'Don't let them fill your heart with dread.' Luka nodded, feeling strong, and knew he could never go wrong.

The referee blew the whistle loud, and Luka felt proud. The game had begun, the ball in play, Luka knew he'd save the day. Ruby cheered from the side, 'Go Luka, go!' she cried. Luka dribbled, passed, and scored, the crowd cheered and roared.

The other team was tough and strong, but Luka knew he could belong. He dodged and weaved, quick as a flash, determined to make a big splash. Ruby's cheers kept him going, his confidence ever-growing. With every point, he felt more sure, that victory was within his lure.

At half-time, the score was tight, and Luka knew he had to fight. Ruby handed him water, with a smile so kind, 'Remember to breathe, and clear your mind.' Luka felt his nerves subside, with Ruby's support by his side. He was ready for the second half, to show his skill and make them laugh.

The third quarter was intense and fast, but Luka knew he had to last. He passed the ball, and made a play, determined to win the day. Ruby's voice was loud and clear, 'Go Luka, go!' she cheered. Luka felt a surge of pride, with Ruby's cheers as his guide.

The final quarter had begun, and Luka knew he had to run. The score was tied, the tension high, but Luka knew he had to try. Ruby's cheers were louder still, 'Go Luka, go!' she willed. Luka felt a rush of might, ready to win the fight.

With three seconds left on the clock, Luka felt a sudden shock. The score was tied, fifty-two all, and Luka had the ball. He dribbled fast, towards the hoop, determined to make the winning swoop. Ruby's cheers were in his ear, 'Go Luka, go!' she cheered.

Luka jumped high, with all his might, and made the winning dunk, just right. The crowd erupted, loud and clear, as Luka's team began to cheer. Ruby ran to him, with a smile so wide, 'You did it, Luka!' she cried. Luka felt a surge of pride, with Ruby's cheers by his side.

After the game, they went for ice cream, talking about the exciting dream. 'Butterflies mean you're excited,' Ruby said, 'And breathing helps clear your head.' Luka nodded, feeling wise, with Ruby's support as his prize. They laughed and cheered, feeling grand, knowing they had won the stand.
