A Sunny Day
Only Love Can Do It Mama
On a bright and sunny day, Andrew went out to play. He hopped on his bike, feeling quite spry. With the wind in his hair, he felt he could fly. Mamma Kate watched from the porch, with a smile oh so wide. She loved seeing Andrew's joy, it filled her with pride. Little did they know, a small adventure was near. One that would end with a hug so dear.
1
Andrew pedaled fast, his heart full of glee. But then came a bump, and he scraped his knee. He fell to the ground, and tears filled his eyes. Mamma Kate ran over, hearing his cries. She knelt beside him, her heart full of care. 'Don't worry, my dear, Mamma's right here.' Andrew kept crying, his pain hard to bear.
2
Mamma Kate thought quickly, what could she do? She tried telling jokes, but they didn't ring true. She sang him a song, a sweet little tune. But Andrew's tears kept falling, like rain in June. She fetched him a bandage, wrapped it up tight. Yet still, Andrew cried well into the night. Mamma Kate felt worried, she wanted to make it right.
3
She brought out a blanket, cozy and warm. She wrapped it around him, to keep him from harm. She offered him cookies, his favorite treat. But Andrew kept crying, he couldn’t be beat. Mamma Kate sat down, feeling quite lost. How to stop Andrew’s tears, at any cost? She wished she could help, no matter the cost.
4
Mamma Kate thought, maybe a magic potion? She mixed up some juice with a lot of devotion. She gave it to Andrew, hoping for a smile. But he kept on crying, mile after mile. She tried making funny faces, acting so silly. But Andrew’s tears kept flowing, willy-nilly. Mamma Kate felt sad, she wanted him to be happy.
5
Mamma Kate had an idea, she’d tell him a story. One full of magic, adventure, and glory. She spoke of brave knights and dragons so fierce. But Andrew’s crying still wouldn’t pierce. She tried a tale of princesses and gold. But Andrew’s tears, they wouldn’t be told. Mamma Kate felt helpless, her heart growing cold.
6
Mamma Kate called Grandma, to ask for advice. Grandma said, 'Sometimes, words don't suffice.' She suggested a hug, a simple embrace. Mamma Kate thought, could that be the case? She walked over to Andrew, and knelt by his side. She wrapped him in her arms, with love open wide. Andrew's tears slowed, and he started to confide.
7
'Mamma, it hurts, and I feel so sad.' Mamma Kate hugged him tighter, feeling glad. She whispered, 'It's okay, I'm here for you.' Andrew's tears lessened, his smile breaking through. 'I love you, Andrew, more than words can say.' With each word, his pain faded away. Sometimes all you need is love, to brighten your day.
8
Andrew felt better, wrapped in Mamma's love. It felt like magic, sent from above. His knee still hurt, but his heart felt light. Mamma Kate's hug made everything right. 'Thank you, Mamma,' Andrew softly said. 'Your hug is the best, it fixed my head.' Mamma Kate smiled, feeling love spread.
9
Andrew learned something new that sunny day. That love can heal in a magical way. No potion or story, no bandage or treat. Could compare to Mamma's hug, so sweet. He knew he'd be okay, with Mamma by his side. Her love was his guide, his joy and his pride. And in that moment, their hearts were tied.

The next day, Andrew was ready to play. He hopped on his bike, feeling okay. Mamma Kate watched, with a smile so bright. Her hug had made everything right. Andrew rode fast, his laughter filled the air. Mamma Kate felt joy, knowing love was there. And Andrew knew, Mamma's love was rare.
11
Andrew told his friends about the magic hug. How it made him feel warm, like a cozy rug. His friends were amazed, they wanted to try. So they hugged their moms, reaching for the sky. They felt the magic, the love so pure. And knew that Mamma's hug was the cure. Love was the answer, they were sure.
12
Andrew decided to spread the love around. To everyone he met, in the whole town. He hugged his teachers, his neighbors, too. And they felt the magic, through and through. The town was filled with love and light. All because of Mamma's hug, so right. Andrew knew, love was the true might.
13
Andrew and Mamma Kate made a special day. To celebrate love, in every way. They called it Hug Day, and spread the news. Everyone joined in, no one could refuse. Hugs were given, love was shared. And the town felt happy, knowing someone cared. Andrew and Mamma Kate, a perfect pair.
14
Hug Day became a yearly tradition. A time for love, and heartfelt admission. Andrew grew older, but he never forgot. The magic of Mamma's hug, and the love it brought. He shared it with others, near and far. And they felt the love, like a shining star. Mamma Kate's hug had made him who he are.
15
Andrew learned, love is the greatest power. It can heal any wound, in the darkest hour. Mamma Kate's hug taught him this truth. And he carried it with him, since his youth. Love can do what nothing else can. It's the magic that makes us human. And with love, we can always stand.
