A Cozy Morning
Little Red Riding Hood and the Crafty Wolf
Little Red Riding Hood and her mother lived in a cozy cottage near a great forest. One bright morning, her mother, with a warm smile, handed Little Red a basket filled with freshly baked cupcakes. 'Take these to Granny,' she said, 'but remember, don’t talk to strangers on the way.' Little Red nodded excitedly, eager for the adventure.

With the basket in hand, Little Red set off through the lush, green forest. The birds sang melodies, and sunlight danced through the leaves. She hopped and skipped along the path, her heart light and full of joy. Little did she know, eyes were watching her every step.

Mr. Wolf, with a sly grin, stepped onto the path. 'What a lovely day for a picnic,' he remarked, trying to sound friendly. Little Red, remembering her mother’s warning, hesitated. But Mr. Wolf's charm was persuasive, and soon they were chatting away.

As they talked, Little Red suddenly remembered her mother's words. She excused herself quickly, saying, 'I mustn’t delay; Granny waits for these cupcakes.' Leaving Mr. Wolf behind, she hurried along the path, a sense of urgency driving her steps.

Meanwhile, Mr. Wolf took a shortcut to Granny’s cottage. He put on one of Granny’s dresses and a nightcap, then lay in bed, waiting. When Little Red arrived, she was puzzled by Granny’s strange appearance. 'Granny, what big eyes you have!' she exclaimed.

With a wicked laugh, Mr. Wolf threw off the disguise. 'The better to see you with, my dear!' he roared and swallowed her whole. Just then, a loud noise startled Mr. Wolf. It was the woodcutter, who had heard the commotion and came rushing in.
6
With a swift strike of his axe, the woodcutter defeated Mr. Wolf. He carefully cut open the wolf’s belly, and out jumped Little Red and Granny, safe and sound. They hugged the woodcutter, tears of gratitude in their eyes. 'Thank you for saving us!' they exclaimed.

Together, they enjoyed the cupcakes, now a symbol of their victory over danger. Little Red learned an important lesson about listening to her mother’s advice. They all laughed and celebrated, grateful for the woodcutter’s heroic intervention. And from that day forward, Little Red never forgot to be cautious.
