Kindness

In the heart of the forest, there lived a squirrel named Toto. Toto was known for his kindness to everyone. He always helped others, even when no one helped him in return. Toto believed that being kind was the right thing to do. His friends admired him, but they often forgot to return the favor.

One sunny afternoon, Toto was gathering nuts under a big tree. Suddenly, he heard a soft chirp and saw a baby bird on the ground. The bird had fallen from its nest high above. Without thinking twice, Toto climbed the tree and gently placed the baby bird back into its nest. The bird's mother chirped gratefully from a nearby branch.

Another day, Toto wandered through the forest and saw Tata, a pigeon, struggling with her nest. The twigs kept falling apart, and she was getting frustrated. Toto rushed over to help her. Together, they built a sturdy nest, and Tata was very thankful. Toto felt happy to have helped a friend.

Toto continued to help anyone he saw in need. Whether it was a rabbit needing help finding food or a fox needing help with a den, Toto was there. His heart was full of joy whenever he helped someone. He never asked for anything in return. Toto's kindness was like sunshine in the forest.

Then came a harsh winter, and Toto's food supply ran out. The snow covered everything, making it hard to find food. Toto felt the pangs of hunger as he searched for something to eat. He realized he was all alone in his time of need. None of the animals he helped were around to offer him food.

Determined to survive, Toto ventured out into the snowy forest. He searched high and low for food. Finally, he found an oak tree with a few acorns hidden beneath the snow. Relieved, he gathered them and hurried back home. But when he reached his nest, he found it had collapsed under the weight of the snow.

Toto was shocked and confused. He had no idea how to rebuild his nest alone. He felt sad and wished someone would help him. Just then, he noticed a snake slithering towards him. It was Lula, a snake known for her kind heart despite her scary appearance.
