How to overcome cyberbullying

Shawn-Anthony Joshua was excited about the new school year. He was starting 8th grade and hoped to make new friends. But soon, he started receiving mean messages online. The messages made fun of him for being non-binary. Shawn-Anthony felt hurt and confused.

Shawn-Anthony didn't know who was sending the messages. They called him a freak and said he didn't belong. He was too shy to tell his friends during break time. Shawn-Anthony felt alone and scared. He didn't know what to do.

One day, Shawn-Anthony decided to talk to his teacher. His teacher listened and said it was important to tell an adult about cyberbullying. She helped Shawn-Anthony report the mean messages. His friends also supported him when they found out. Shawn-Anthony felt a little better knowing he wasn't alone.

With the help of his teacher and friends, the mean messages stopped. Shawn-Anthony learned that it was okay to be himself. He also learned that asking for help is important. Shawn-Anthony felt proud for standing up against cyberbullying. He knew he was strong and brave.
