The Unicorn Festival

Emma And The Smallest Unicorn

Emma was so excited for the unicorn festival. She could hardly wait to see the unicorn races with her grandparents, Mimi and PopPop. All week, Emma had been dreaming of meeting a unicorn she could someday ride. The adult unicorns, though beautiful, were not the friendliest. They never let Emma get close, even when she asked politely with a cherry on top!

In a quieter corner of the festival, Emma met Uno, a baby unicorn with a tiny horn. Uno was often hiding from the bigger unicorns who pushed him around. Emma felt a connection with the little unicorn. She cheered Uno up with a pep talk about being brave and strong. Together, they became fast friends and racing partners.

Emma and Uno did well in the junior unicorn races. But trouble came when a bigger unicorn's brother wanted them to drop out. Emma felt bad, but Uno stood firm. Uno's small horn began to glow golden, showing his true strength. Even the big brother unicorn was surprised and backed down, knowing he was wrong.

In the end, Emma and Uno didn't win the junior finals. But they were proud because they tried their best and had fun. Uno promised Emma they could try again next year. As they hugged, Emma knew that one didn't need a big horn to have a big heart. Friends like Uno were worth more than any trophy.
